Exciting news about useful and fun courses for the general public
The 2019 course calendar at Katalapi Park again includes our highly successful “Workshop I: Training for Facilitators in Outdoor Environmental Education” and “Internal and External Nature: Methodologies for Connection”. Our popular science workshops for the general public will also be offered, including “Bioacoustics of Birds”, “Chilean Flora for the General Public” and “Propagating Native Flora for Conservation”.
For next year, we’re excited to announce three new workshops! “Advanced Workshop II for Facilitators in Outdoor Environmental Education” and “Inquiry Cycles for Environmental Education” will add valuable methodology and techniques to the environmental educator’s toolbox; for both new courses, the prerequisite is to have taken Workshop I.
The third new workshop, “Educational Experiences for Guiding Outdoors”, will be led by renowned outdoor educator Rod Walker.
We will also offer new two scientific courses for the general public: “Forest Ecology” and “Introduction to Medicinal Plants of Chile”.
Our workshops last 3 days and are conducted at Katalapi Park. All workshops are in Spanish. The cost is Ch$145.000 and includes registration, housing and meals. To ensure your spot, please fill out the registration form and send it to email@example.com.
Katalapi Park’s post-graduate courses are for post-graduate students and professionals with the relevant specialization. We will publish the calendar for these courses in 2019.
