A new graduate level course will be held in Katalapi Park from October 14-20, 2018. The course program of "Eco-evolutionary dynamics in Biogeography" includes the phylogenetic structure of communities, hybrid and ecological speciation, evolutionary models in biogeography, and ecological dynamics of niches. In addition, there will be student work that will culminate in oral presentations. The lectures will be in charge of the doctors Pablo Guerrero (University of Concepción, Chile), Gastón O Carvallo (P. Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile), John J. Wiens (University of Arizona, USA), Daniele Silvestro (University of Stirling, UK), Mario Vallejo-Marín (University of Stirling, UK), and Cristián Hernández (University of Concepción). The course will be in English.
